Maintaining Water and Dust Resistance
Your Galaxy Fit3 is rated 5ATM for water resistance and IP68 for dust resistance, making it suitable for swimming, showering, or running in the rain. However, certain conditions can still affect its protection.
Avoid exposure to high-pressure water, saltwater, or chemicals such as soap, detergent, or perfume. After swimming, rinse the device gently with fresh water and dry it completely before charging.
Do not wear the device in hot tubs, saunas, or during deep-water activities.
The water-resistance feature may deteriorate over time due to normal wear. If your Fit3 experiences strong impact or damage, test its seal before resuming aquatic use.
To maintain the sensor’s accuracy, ensure the rear surface remains clean and dry. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe off sweat or debris after workouts.
When charging, always ensure both the tracker and charging contacts are dry. Moisture during charging can lead to corrosion or malfunction.
By following these care tips, your Fit3 will maintain its performance and durability even in challenging environments.
